Design Process
Every Dreamwing piece is made in a couture atelier — not mass-produced, not rushed, and never “one-size-fits-all.” This process is designed to protect the quality, fit, and longevity of your costume — and to ensure you receive a truly unique design.
1. Inquiry & Requirements
You send your request with:
- discipline & level (figure skating / rhythmic / performance)
- deadlines / competition dates
- preferred colors, music/theme inspiration
- measurements (and, if possible, reference photos/videos)
You’ll receive a realistic timeframe and an overview of what’s possible within your budget.
2. Concept & Design Direction
Based on your music/theme and body lines, Dreamwing develops:
- the design concept (silhouette, lines, balance)
- fabric recommendations (performance + movement)
- crystal direction (shine, placement, density)
This phase is about design clarity and visual impact — not copying trends.
3. Confirmation & Booking
Once the direction is approved:
- your slot is reserved
- production planning begins
- materials are allocated
Please note: Dreamwing is a small atelier with limited capacity — booking secures time, not mass-production speed.
4. Production (Couture Atelier Work)
Your piece is handcrafted through multiple stages:
- pattern work & construction
- shaping and fit logic for movement
- hand-placement of appliqués / details
- crystal work (often thousands of stones, individually placed)
This is where “fast” is not the goal — precision is.

5. Final Fitting & Adjustments
Depending on location and timing:
- Final fittings and adjustments are available when the client is able to attend a fitting at the atelier.
- • Minor refinements are made to ensure proper fit, stage performance, and durability.
For international clients or remote orders, fittings and adjustments are limited. In such cases, the piece is completed based on the approved measurements and design, and further alterations after delivery are not guaranteed.
Timeframes
Dreamwing timelines are estimated, because couture work depends on:
- material delivery
- complexity of the design
- crystal work volume
- fitting feedback (when applicable)
If you have a strict deadline, mention it immediately — and we will confirm what is realistically possible.
What Dreamwing is (and isn’t)
- ✓ Couture atelier, handcrafted work, performance-focused construction
- ✓ One-of-a-kind designs with high-end finishing
- ✕ Not a factory timeline
- ✕ Not “copy-paste” replication of existing dresses
- ✕ Not rushed production at the cost of quality
Couture is time, precision, and intention — never speed.
