2. Scope of Services
Dreamwing® creates custom-made, handcrafted costumes and related design services. All products are individually produced based on client specifications and measurements.
3. Payments
- Production begins only after payment has been registered.
- Orders may be split into installments. The first payment must be at least 50% of the total order value.
- Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, PayPal, Western Union, Swish.
- Shipping costs are not included in the costume price and are charged separately.
- The full remaining balance, including shipping fees, must be paid before dispatch.
VAT & International Orders
- Orders within the EU are calculated including Swedish VAT (25%).
- Orders shipped outside the EU are invoiced excluding Swedish VAT.
- For non-EU orders, the client is fully responsible for any import duties, customs fees, local taxes, or clearance costs.
4. Delivery Times
All delivery times provided by Dreamwing® are estimates only and serve as guidance. Each costume is individually designed and handcrafted.
- Production timelines depend on design complexity, material availability, fitting adjustments, and current atelier workload.
- Delivery dates are coordinated individually with each client. Booking a production slot does not constitute a guarantee of delivery within a specific calendar month.
- While Dreamwing® makes every reasonable effort to meet agreed timelines, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including supplier delays, shipping carriers, or customs processing.
Such delays do not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, or compensation.
Competition dates, events, or travel plans do not constitute guaranteed delivery deadlines unless explicitly confirmed in writing by Dreamwing®.
5. Shipping
- Shipping is arranged after full payment has been received.
- Dreamwing® is not responsible for delays caused by payment issues, shipping carriers, customs, or force majeure.
6. Returns & Defects
All Dreamwing® costumes are individually designed and handcrafted as custom-made, made-to-measure products.
In accordance with applicable EU consumer law, personalized products made to the client’s specifications are excluded from the right of return.
- No returns or exchanges are accepted for custom-made costumes.
- The client is responsible for providing accurate measurements. Dreamwing® is not liable for fit issues resulting from incorrect measurements.
If a manufacturing defect is identified (e.g. seam damage, visible stains, construction faults), Dreamwing® will correct the issue at no additional cost.
- Any defect must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
- Claims must be submitted exclusively by email to info@dreamwing.eu.
- Claims submitted after 7 days will not be accepted.
Normal wear, competition use, fabric friction, incorrect handling, or damage caused after delivery do not qualify as manufacturing defects.
Dyed, Painted & Airbrushed Costumes
Due to the nature of hand-dyed fabrics and airbrushed designs, Dreamwing® cannot guarantee long-term durability. Longevity depends on fabric type, friction, usage intensity, and environmental factors beyond our control.
Variations or wear resulting from these factors do not constitute a defect.
Costume Care & Handling
Dreamwing® costumes are handcrafted couture pieces and must be handled with care. Proper handling is essential to preserve materials, construction, and surface finishes.
- Costumes must not be machine washed, hand washed, or soaked.
- Spot cleaning only is recommended when necessary.
- Avoid excessive friction, pulling, or prolonged contact with rough surfaces.
- Dyed, painted, or airbrushed areas require special care and may react to moisture, heat, or intensive wear.
Damage resulting from improper handling, washing, or care does not constitute a manufacturing defect.
7. Sketch vs. Final Product
Sketches are artistic visualizations and not technical renderings. Variations in color, shading, proportions, and detailing may occur during production.
Such variations do not constitute defects and are not grounds for complaints.
8. Order Cancellation
Once an order has been confirmed and/or payment has been made, cancellation is not possible.
If cancellation is requested regardless, all paid amounts including the booking fee are forfeited to cover incurred costs. Due to the custom-made nature of our work and the immediate allocation of design time, planning, and production resources, all payments made — including the booking fee — are non-refundable.
9. Intellectual Property
All designs, images, sketches, and content remain the intellectual property of Dreamwing®. Reproduction or commercial use without written permission is prohibited.
10. Liability Disclaimer
Dreamwing® is not liable for indirect damages, competition results, performance outcomes, or misuse of products.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is not permitted by law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be subject to Swedish jurisdiction.
